We've heard of carpet burn but beard burn is something of a new phenomenon for us.
In the above video, we see a TikToker share how she has a terrible rash on her chin, all because of a kissing session she had with her hubby.
Her video opened up a conversation amongst women who have experienced the same or similar. And things certainly took a turn for the interesting.
Her video got women asking what a beard burn is, while others made the connection and felt a bit at ease knowing that the cause was their kissing partner's beard or stubble.
Olivia, the beard burn victim shared how she had experienced this before. And for years it was always something she covered up with makeup.
But with this most recent one, she aired it out and it healed in three days. Whereas previously she would pick at the scab which is definitely not ideal.
It's safe to say that beard burn is something of an unlocked fear for women kissing bearded men.

A medical professional touched base on the topic saying that the reason behind a beard burn, could be that there is bacteria in the guy's beard.
