Cadbury's Flake - simply irresistible and unmeltable!
Updated | By East Coast Radio
The owner of cheesecake company, 'Pleesecakes', attempted to melt a Cadbury Flake chocolate bar in the microwave... and the result is in.

Fancy having a debate with your colleagues about whether or not Cadbury's Flake chocolate bar melts or not? Well, the founder of 'Pleesecakes', Joe Moruzzi, a cheesecake company, didn't just have this debate with his team, he went ahead and proved it to them.
Joe placed a Cadbury caramel chocolate next to a Cadbury Flake and popped it in the microwave for 30 seconds - and the results were shocking. He proved his theory to his unbelieving colleagues and found that the Flake remained the same!
Are you like us and wondering - how? Why? Hmmm? If so, then the peeps at sciencefocus.com tell us it's got everything to do with the way the chocolate is manufactured.
They went on to explain further: "Although Flake is made from milk chocolate, the manufacturing process gives it a different arrangement of fat and cocoa solids, so the melting fat isn’t able to lubricate the cocoa particles to the point where they can flow. In a bain marie, a Flake will never melt. In the microwave, it eventually just burns."
Well, there you have it, Cadbury Flake is unmeltable... there's something you can show off during your next family catchup.
