Why Dennis Hurley's legacy still matters!
Updated | By George Thorne
We caught up with Raymond Perrier, the new Director of the Denis Hurley Center.

Today would have been Dennis Hurley's 100th birthday. To celebrate his life a multi-faith concert will be held at the Denis Hurley center on the 9th November.
Denis Hurley was a fearless opponent of apartheid and believed in helping people no matter what their religious beliefs or where they came from.
He touched countless lives, believed that different religious groups could work together to help those in need, and he was committed to justice, healing and reconciliation. He never shied away from his moral responsibility to challenge the wrongs of apartheid, and or the injustices of any government for that matter.
The Denis Hurley Center continues with his hard work and is one of Durban's most important institutions and sanctuaries.

The center recently appointed a new director, Raymond Perrier. We got to chat to the new director of the Denis Hurley Center about the work they do, his fascinating journey from the corporate world to landing his current job, and what motivates and inspires him! Denis Hurley's legacy is in very capable hands.
