A mother-of-two has shared a heartbreaking account of how her teenage daughter was sexually abused by her husband of less than a year.
Catherine St. Germain, 34, from Loveland, Colorado, detailed the harrowing incident in a Facebook video!
She hopes that this will help other mothers avoid this happening to their children.
The man who sexually abused her daughter had been her husband for just over a year. She had known him for over 20 years. He had been married previously and had 3 children of his own. He was a navy veteran. His own daughter was one year younger than her daughter.
This video is harrowing. And a wake up call to us all.
After reading the story online, I became extremely angry. Horrified at the abuse, then furious about the sentencing! Catherine's ex-husband, her daughters abuser, US Navy Veteran Aaron Tyrell Scott, was sentenced to 90 days in prison ,and would be on sex offenders probation list for 8 years. No jail time. Worse still, the court did not plan to notify or warn his ex-wife (remember he had two daughters).
