We chatted to Jane. She never fails to amaze!
The media business can be a little cut-throat and inauthentic. Everyone is chasing the latest trend, the latest big moment. Constantly treading water in the hope of universal relevance.
In this relentless pursuit of what is cool, of standing out from the crowd, of being different, many personalities loose themselves in the process, and in doing so, what made them exceptional and interesting in the first place, is quickly subsumed in a fabricated collage of moments.
Then there are people like Jane. Jane is Jane. Funny, bubbly, colourful, raw, unique and above all honest. Once you listen to our interview with Jane you will understand why I say this about her.
She is fantastic on radio, equally remarkable when she steps out of the studio. This warts and all interview with blow you away. You will learn a lot, you will be inspired, and you definitely will be moved. She has genuine and profound desire to spread love, light and happiness!
It not all sunshine and roses though. Jane does talk about her love of Justin Bieber which I feel needs an intervention of some kind!
