Epic Mother's Day fail or not?
Not everyone is happy with Truworths Fashion's choice of model in their Mother's Day promotion.
Listener Janna Strang brought this to our attention yesterday. Many moms feel the choice of model by Truworths Fashion was is an epic fail.
They feel a ''teenage'' model representing Mom's is inappropriate. Her pose, the choice of attire irked them as well. Why is it necessary to use an image that is so hyper-sexualised?
They are not discounting the fact that Mom's can be sexy, or desire to feel sexy on Mother's Day, but the promotion doesn't capture Mom's Day at all.
Many quipped that Truworths' simply used some shots from their Valentine's Day promotion.
