WATCH: Humpback almost swallows two women!

Kind of reminds you of that one scene in Pinocchio...
While in California, Julie McSorley and Liz Cottriel decided to go out for a very relaxed afternoon of whale-watching.

Little did they know that this simple kayaking trip would change their lives forever.
They noticed that there was a big pool of fish very close to them and realised they might be too close to the whales.

And within a few seconds, Julie was lifted up out of the water and thrown back in.
And Liz said she thought about pushing the whale away, which is the strangest thought!

As you can see, they tipped dangerously close to the whale's open mouth but luckily managed to escape unharmed.
Except for losing some car keys and ending up with a bunch of fish in some strange places, the women got back to the beach safely.
Sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we would probably say no to.
