Yellowfin tuna refuses to accept death
Updated | By Damon Beard
This fish was not ready for the pan - even when sliced in half!
This video just freaks me out.
A yellowfin tuna thrashing around in a shop - even though it has been sliced in half?!
OMG!!!!
Imagine going into a shop to buy fish and there is this tuna, sliced in half, jumping around like a mad thing! It's honestly like something out of a Leon Schuster movie and you can hear the screeches of people in the background!
Apparently, muscle motor neurons are triggered by electrical signals, and these can still be active even after the brain has died.
The video has been re-tweeted over 174,000 times since it was originally posted. Crazy!
