Woman marries her, wait for it... dog!

Often stuff pops up on my Facebook feed that I simply scroll past. But sometimes things really catch my eye, and I just have to share it with you.

 

I have heard plenty of women say “All men are dogs” and Amanda Rogers from Brixton in the UK agreed with this phrase, so much so that she decided to marry one, a dog that is.

 

She was married to a human over 20 years ago, but that went sour, so since then she vowed against men and turned to dogs. She says her pet dog had all the qualities she was looking for in a life partner.

“Sheba had been in my life for years, making me laugh and comforting me when I was feeling low," she said.

Amanda got down on one knee and proposed to Sheba, and, well, obviously Sheba couldn’t respond but Amanda says she could tell by her dog's tail wagging that she said "yes". Sheba and Amanda then got married in Croatia, and Amanda made sure that everything on the day was to her liking, adding that she had dreamed of her perfect wedding dress since she was little. More than 200 people attended the ceremony.

 

Listen, I love my dogs to bits and pieces, but I would never, ever marry them. Do they even know what’s going on?
