Babypod allows you to play music to your unborn child in the weirdest way ever!
A lot of pregnant women play their unborn babies music, especially classic music because it is said to stimulate the child’s brain and assist with development.
There are tons of gadgets to assist with this and some just opt for putting headphones over their baby bump. Here’s a gadget that will make you say OMG!
It’s called “The BabyPod” and it was invented by the Spanish gynecology clinic Institut Marquès.
It is a speaker that the mom inserts into her uterus, a la tampon, and they get to play songs for their unborn babies. The BabyPod connects to a smartphone and apparently this is the only way the fetus can hear unmuffled sounds.
I’m not sold on this at all, and it is definitely not on my wish list for my next pregnancy.
I worry that what if the music is too loud for the little baby?
What if hearing sound directly will affect the baby’s hearing?
I’ll stick to the baby hearing muffled sounds thank you!
