WATCH: A rare baby tree kangaroo makes a video appearance

This is nature in all its glory! After six months of growing inside its mother's pouch, a tree kangaroo joey emerged, and it is a sight to behold.

A rare baby tree kangaroo has been filmed emerging after six months inside its mother’s pouch - and his first glimpse of the ‘outside world’ is one of the best things you’ll see.

According to UNILAD, after a routine pouch inspection earlier this year, the tiny joey was the size of a jelly bean and now, six months later, he’s ready to take on the world, but as you’ll see in the video, very cautiously.
Over the next few months, the joey will continue to pop his head in and out of the pouch until he’s eventually ready to be completely independent.
