Watch: KZN listeners share their epic Durban storm footage

While many South Africans across the country spent time outdoors with family and friends, some East Coasters chose to stay indoors after being showered by a crazy hail storm that took place on Sunday evening. 

However, the storm did not stop locals from enjoying their long weekend. Many took to social media to share pictures and videos of them enjoying a 'lekker braai' with family and friends under shelter.

It seems that the storm may not be over just yet. According to a weather report by the South African Weather Service, thunderstorms are expected for Heritage Day.

On Sunday evening, we put out a call on our Facebook page for listeners to send through videos that they captured during the storm.

The footage we received is nothing short of amazing.
