Watch: Joburg driver robbed by armed men in just 30 seconds
Updated | By Damon Beard
Don't blink! It took these robbers merely 30 seconds to rob an unsuspecting driver in Johannesburg.
How long do you think it takes for robbers to pounce on an unsuspecting driver and make their getaway? Five minutes or maybe two minutes at a push? Not even - it takes a mere 30 seconds flat.
According to Netstar, 68% of all hijackings occur close to home, and that is exactly what happened in this incident, as this CCTV footage shows.
Half a minute is all it took for a black bakkie to pull into the entrance of a complex and two armed men to leap from their car, confronting the people in the bakkie.
In a flash, a third man appears and points his gun at another vehicle that is approaching, but quickly reverses away from the scene.
