Before my show, I scan the internet, and it seems that day in and day out, it's becoming harder and harder to spot good headlines - so when I do come across one, trust and believe I'm going to share it with you.

Usually, there are two types of people in the world when it comes to tipping - those who tip and those who don't. My heart always goes out to waiters - especially when people don't tip after their meals. Waiters really have a hard time - working long hours and dealing with customers, some who can be incredibly difficult.

That's why I was pleasantly surprised when I read this story which first appeared on Fox News. A waitress at a Mexican restaurant in Arkansas, USA received a $24,000 (over R360,000) car as a tip from a couple who are regulars of the restaurant she works at.

The couple, David and Shelia Harrison, asked the waitress Maria Elena Barragan to have a seat after she was done serving them. Initially, she thought she was in hot water, only to see a gift bag that was given to her.

ALSO: 'Am I a douche for not tipping my waiter after bad service?'

In the bag were the keys to a 2019 Buick Encore which was put in her name. Barragan cites that she didn't take it as a tip but as a 'gift from God'.

I said it once and I'll say it again, hard work and perseverance NEVER go unnoticed. What a heartwarming story!
