South African big game hunter crushed by elephant
Updated | By Damon Beard
A big game hunter, who was leading a group of hunters in Zimbabwe, has died after being crushed to death by an elephant.

Theunis was leading a group of hunters when they stumbled upon a breeding herd of elephants, who stormed the hunters and as the one elephant collapsed, dead, she fell on top of the hunter.
Theunis Botha, who pioneered European-style Monteira hunts, frequently led leopard and lion hunting safaris with his pack of dogs in Southern African countries.
