Should parents face fines for misbehaving children? Take a listen as KZN responds to Damon question in the podcast then read more below:

I was chatting to some mates over the weekend and the subject of flying came up. Now I get to fly quite a bit and with that comes experiencing the best and worst of commercial air travel. However, often the bad outweighs the good.

If I had to choose between all the things that could irritate me on a flight, I think the one that would come out tops would be naughty kids. I mean there are a ton of things that can make you short tempered on a flight, but naughty kids is right up there.


A mate of mine said that airlines should punish parents who don't know how to look after their kids on a flight. Maybe impose a travel ban or even a fine for the parents?

Everyone around the table seemed to agree, but I personally don't. Yes, maybe a strong talking to for the parents of the brat kicking the back of my seat or running up and down the aisle is needed, but should the parents face punishment for the misbehaviour of their children?
