Shocking photos show dog with five tattoos!

When I see an animal that's been treated badly, I lose my rag.

So when I saw pictures of a pet dog that appears to have tattoos on its nose, ears, and next to its eyes, I was disgusted.

Its owner, a tattoo artist from Brazil, has been accused of animal cruelty and now all hell has broken loose over the pictures.

The dog, believed to be a bull terrier, has five tattoos, including a large piece on its nose and stars right next to its eyes.

After receiving huge criticism, the dog's owner changed his name and then deleted the images and his social media profile.

He also says that the images were not done for style but rather to protect the dog from getting cancer.

So I put it out there to a group of people I was with over the weekend and strangely enough, there was mixed reaction.

Although most people thought this was cruelty to the dog, others thought that although it wasn't right, the tattoos wouldn't kill the dog, and if humans can get tattoos, then why can't animals?

My argument was then about choice?

Humans can say whether they want a tattoo or not, but a dog can't?

Then the discussion came up about babies having their ears pierced? Is that also wrong then as the baby can't decide?
