#SaveTheDJ: Here's how Jayshree's night in 'jail' went

Unfortunately for Jayshree, by not knowing the name of a song, it caused her to experience some 'jail time' at the East Coast Radio studios.

Listen to the moment Jayshree lost the #SaveTheDJ challenge in the podcast then read more below:

My producer Simon, Jayshree, and I are always testing each other's music knowledge by playing a few seconds of a song and trying to guess what song it is, and who the artist or group is.

Simon then decided that this should become a daily feature and we should all take it in turns to guess the name of a song, live on air, but there needed to be a consequence if we got it wrong - and so #SaveTheDJ was born.

We each get a week where we take three 'help' calls a day from listeners, but if we can't guess the name of the song or artist and group by the end of those three calls, we sleep at the studios and spend the night in 'jail'. And who bombed out first? Our highly peeved off traffic reporter Jayshree spent the night at work on Thursday! In fact, she was so unprepared for the sleepover she even had someone sponsor her some PJs for the night.

I have to admit that it was hugely amusing to watch Jayshree wondering around the building at all hours of the night and nodding off in the strangest places. She just didn't know we had access to the security cameras and we could see exactly what she was doing...

Here's the moment when Jayshree realised that she had lost...

She needed PJs for the sleepover. Luckily for her, she managed to get some sponsored.

She even managed to get a 'jail selfie' with East Coast Urban presenter Thandolwethu.

The security cameras captured her confused and very alone at the studios.

Simon, Jayshree and I had a bit of banter while Jayshree was 'in jail'. Who knew that phones were allowed in jail?
