Restless toddler throws a tantrum in front of Queen Elizabeth

Sometimes even the most well-behaved child needs a moment to just blow off steam, even if it means stopping a ceremony.

A toddler who was to hand the queen a bouquet of flowers decided it wasn't for him and threw a complete hissy fit instead.

The queen was unveiling a memorial  in central London yesterday, honoring armed forces and civilians who served during the Gulf Wars and the conflict in Afghanistan. Everything was going according to plan until little Alfie decided the handing over of flowers wasn't for him.

A friend of mine was at a busy grocery store recently when she noticed her 4 year old son staring at the man behind them. At the top of his voice he shouted, 'look mom it's Robocop'. Turns out the man had a prosthetic arm with a clamp for a hand as he was missing his own!

But isn't this what children do? They're unpredictable and seem to embarrass parents and siblings at the most inopportune time.

That's what makes this video of little Alfie going bezerk really cute.

They're children, they're going to do silly things and they'll yell when it's a really good time to be quiet.

But is it always acceptable or does it depend on how old the child is?

Has your child ever embarrassed you in a public place? What happened and how did you handle it?
