Hi Damon. I am a single mom and have kids from another relationship. I recently got involved with a guy for about 2 years and things have bern going good. However, his mother has gone out of her way to exclude me from family gatherings and get-togethers. She even ignores me when she sees me. She calls at odd hours and he’s expected to drop everything and run for her. I understand its his mom – but its getting a bit much. She’s controlling and he just can’t see it. What do I do?
It's a case of she's damned if she does say anything... or says nothing. If she talks, things could get awkward and uncomfortable, but if she doesn't, she will never feel better about it all, and she will always be known as the outcast.
