Men caught pouring beer down a baby alligator's throat
People often do or say things to get a reaction and now two men have been charged after they took photos of themselves pouring beer into the mouth of a young alligator.
The 20- and 21-year-old men were driving when they allegedly saw the alligator crossing the road. They allegedly picked it up and poured beer into its mouth, took photos of their actions, and then released it into a nearby pond.
The photos went viral on Snapchat and were also shared on Facebook, and law enforcement officers began investigating the matter after receiving dozens of emails and messages from the public.

According to a press release, the pair could be fined a maximum of $300 (approximately R4,200).
The judge who is overseeing the case will determine the men’s final punishment in due course.
