The Kearsney College Choir performing the Zulu prayer, ‘Avulekile’, is currently taking social media by storm.

It is arranged by Ralf Schmitt, who is the conductor of the Ndlovu Youth Choir, and the best part is, they are not even in the same room, it has all been recorded separately from home by each choir member.

It was mixed and edited by Kearsney College Music Director Marshell Lombard, who shared more details about the project and the inspiration behind it.

The talented boys are no stranger to East Coast Radio. They previously performed a beautiful tribute to music icon Johnny Clegg live in the studioas well as the national anthem on East Coast Drive

"Goosebumps, actual goosebumps is what you have every time you watch the video and hear the song," said Thandolwethu.
