Is it ever okay to walk around naked in your home?

Is it ever okay to walk around naked in your home?

A KZN man has described a very strange situation to Damon about how his neighbour walks around in his birthday suit, and his family doesn't seem to have an issue with it.

My Producer Zama always asks the strangest of questions in our WhatsApp group, but on Thursday night, I was a bit surprised when she casually asked if I walked around the naked. This then led to everyone chiming in with both hilarious and awkward answers.

I mean I am one of those people who like to be naked, always have been. In fact, I am naked writing this - joking! I must admit that I don’t mind being naked on the odd occasion. It’s not like I consciously think to myself ‘okay let me walk around the house now with no clothes on’.

Back to Zama's question, you're probably wondering why she asked me that. Well, its because she came across a voice note on the WhatsApp line from one very unsettled neighbour who could not quite grasp the fact that his neighbour walks around in his birthday suit, and that his family is so comfortable about it.

Listen to the voice note he sent, or read the details in the podcast.

Walking around your home naked is perfect if it’s one of those hot as hell days in Durban in mid-summer and, to be honest, why do we have to give a reason as to why we do what we do?

If I want to walk around naked in my own home, I’m going to do just that. If you want to scale the wall or go to the effort to see me in my birthday suit, well that’s your issue.

That's my opinion on the matter, but I now want to hear from you. Is it ever okay to walk around naked in your home? Share your comments below.
