High School Principal enforces dress code - for parents!
Updated | By Stacey Norman
Usually, it's the kids who have to follow dress code policies, but in this school, the parents were asked by the Principal to follow the rules, too.
Recently, a mother arriving to enrol her child was banned from entering James Madison High School for wearing a T-shirt dress bearing the image of Marilyn Monroe and a headscarf, it is reported. An administrator stopped her for violating the rules that limit parents' attire.
Throughout the past month, James Madison High School, as well as several other United States high schools, have been notifying families of a sweeping new dress code policy for parents.

The ban forbids all people visiting the school from wearing revealing and sagging clothing, as well as pyjamas, hair rollers, satin caps, and bonnets. Also on the list are shower caps, short dresses, lingerie, and other clothing the schools have deemed inappropriate for the educational space.
"To prepare our children and let them know daily, the appropriate attire they are supposed to wear when entering a building, going somewhere, applying for a job, or visiting someone outside of the home setting, I am going to enforce these guidelines on a daily basis at Madison High School. We are preparing our children for the future and it begins here," Principal Outley Brown said in a letter to the Parents and all guests of the school.
