"He promised me something, but he didn't buy it. Now what?"
Updated | By Thandolwethu
A woman is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Her man promised her something, but he hasn't come through for her. She wants to get it for herself, now what?

I always tell my friends that when they tell me about what's going on their life, there's no guarantee that it won't go on air. Okay, in this case, because I love my girl, I'm not going to reveal her identity to you. Her story piqued my interest, however.
She saw a pair of these gorgeous sneakers online a few months ago. She showed them to her man and he replied, saying: "Baby I got you, girl. I'm going to get it for you. Don't even stress."
Three months later - and nothing. Because she's an independent woman, she went online and saw it on special. There were two pairs left in her size.
Long story short, she bought them, and now she wants me to stash them in my home. I'm like: "Nah-uh girl! Not happening."
The issue here is that her other friends have told her that if he found out that she bought them herself, she would emasculate him, as it would be taking away his right to buy it for her, after giving his word to her.
Personally, I don't want anything to do with that. Leave me out of your drama. It's her problem, now she must deal.
Should I hide the sneakers or should she go home and tell him that she bought them?
