Granny ticks something huge off her bucket list

I received a heartwarming email from Erica who takes care of her gran, Ginger.

Her simple request was for me to help an 'old lady smile'.

What I loved about Erica's email was that it wasn't a life-changing request or something that was needed to improve the quality of life, but rather something to cross off her bucket list.

This dream was out of Erica's reach and something she would never be able to help her gran with.

Ginger turns 87 on Wednesday and has lived with Erica since her mom died in 2012.

With debilitating arthritis, Ginger has mentioned that there is still one thing she'd love to do before she dies - and that is to go for a ride in a helicopter.

The big hearted team at JNC Helicopters, who have helped us with so many Big Favours in the past, jumped on board to help Ginger and offered her a scenic flight around Durban.
