Free South African children’s books to entertain your kids
Updated | By Thandolwethu
A South African organisation is providing free, downloadable books to help make your kid's lockdown a lot more fun and interesting.

During this lockdown, it’s important to keep kids entertained and help them keep up with their reading while they’re not at school. Book Dash is helping parents do just that.
Book Dash believes that every child should own 100 books by the age of five. So, they've gathered creative professionals who volunteer to create new, African storybooks that anyone can freely translate, print and distribute.
By doing this they've vastly reduced the costs involved in putting high-quality books in children’s hands and hearts. They have created hundreds of books which are free to download on their website as PDFs and some as audiobooks.
You can help bring reading to kids all around South Africa by visiting Book dash and donating here.
