Eight-year-old schoolboy walks 5km to school with 11 litres of water to donate
Updated | By Zaba
This little boy's small act of kindness and bravery just
shows you what a huge difference it can make.
We often get so consumed in our daily lives that we forget of the hardships others face.
Imagine having to walk 5 kms to school every single day?
Well, that is the reality for Grade 2 pupil Nkosinani Khawula. But this little boy has a heart of pure gold.
May 16th started out as a regular day. Nkosinani got ready for school, and along with his backpack, he carried 11 litres of water to donate to his school's Water Shortage South Africa project.
As you are aware, we are in a severe water crisis throughout the country and Sharonlea Primary’s Afrikaans teacher decided to start a water donation project.
Nkosinani, who is a pupil at Sharonlea, collected two litre bottles around home and school and donated the water. He was also the first pupil to donate.
Such a big act of kindness from an 8-year-old!
Bless you, Nkosinani!
