Dog rescued after falling between train and platform
Updated | By Damon Beard
The little pooch fell through a gap in front of a crowd of commuters.
If you've been to London and travelled on the underground, you'll know all about 'Mind the gap'.
There's a space between the train and the platform and 'Mind the gap' is an announcement that plays constantly to warn people to watch out for it.
So, clearly, not minding the gap was a little Spaniel that fell onto the tracks in front of a shocked crowd of people.
You can only imagine the panic that set in because if you've travelled on the underground, you'll know that the train waits for no one.
When it's ready to go, it goes.
The dog's owner screamed as her beloved pooch fell between the gap and the next thing she had her head under the train trying to rescue it.
Staff and passengers were rallying together too and eventually the little dog was reunited with his relieved owner.
