Denise Richards has surveillance cameras to keep tabs on daughter
American actress Denise Richards has admitted to coming up with a way to keep tabs on her daughter - albeit not the most conventional method.
I may not be a parent, but I have been a child before, and I know of the struggles that kids face when it comes to going out - especially when the parents detest it.
I remember sneaking out of the house when I was younger and coming up with every excuse in the book to go out, without my mum knowing, of course.

American actress Denise Richards, who also happens to be the ex-wife of the popular Charlie Sheen, has openly admitted on a recent episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that she and her husband decided to install security cameras to prevent their daughter, Sami, from sneaking out the house to meet boys.
"Sami’s getting into high school and new school, new boys. That’s when kids usually start sneaking out. I started sneaking out when I was 15 years old, so I know my kid’s going to sneak out. So I’m putting cameras up so I can catch her. … We’ll be able to see people sneak out or sneak in," she told the audience.
She added that her 15-year-old was furious about her mom and dad's move to keep tabs on her.

Denise and Charlie share two kids together, Lola, who is now 13, and Sami. The pair split up back in 2015 after Richards "claimed to have caught Sheen watching gay pornography featuring boys that looked underage," The Sun reports.
Although I'm no expert in the parenting field, I do know there is a thin line between keeping tabs and invading your child's privacy. I'm not too sure how I feel about the surveillance situation.
