Could this be the strangest story of 2017?
A lot of readers were confused as to why this couple did what they did? Some even went on to say that their actions were 'unsettling'.
It was the story that got many people talking and debating on the article I posted back in February this year.
If you missed it, I chatted about a couple who spent 16 days with their baby girl who died from a chromosome abnormality. The parents spent the time with her by taking her lifeless body for a walk and just being with her. They commented saying that it assisted them to cope with their loss emotionally.

I have never lost a child so I cannot comment on whether it was right or wrong of them for spending a whole 16 days after their baby died with her, but I am sure that it must not have been easy pretending that their baby was around when she clearly already passed on. However, I do know that many process grief differently.
