Brave dog takes on 'king of the jungle' in Tanzanian Conservation Area
Updated | By Damon Beard
In a strange turn of events, this video just goes to show that sometimes bigger isn't always better.
Want to see who really is the king of the jungle? Well, here’s proof...
A little dog was caught on video in the Ngorongoro Conversation Area in Tanzania giving two wild African lions a run for their money. The Incredible footage shows two lions walking amidst tall grass and then are confronted by a small dog and his big bark.

The video was taken by a couple that was making their way through the area when they noticed the enraged dog who wanted to make his 'voice heard'. It is reported by Daily Mail that the dog is more than likely owned by the Maasai people who have livestock grazing in the area. Dogs in this area normally spend time with wild animals around them.
At first, the pooch is at a safe distance as he barks at the lions, but then it’s almost like he’s fed up of not being heard and he races up to the pair and faces them head-on.

This video will leave you gasping at the fierceness of this dog as he attempts to attack these two adult lions. I would definitely not like to find myself in a dark alley with this brave pooch.
