2017 seems to be a rollercoaster for Bonang.

She has her own reality show on TV, which I am sure is helping her bank balance. Her relationship with AKA seems to be on the up and up again. Recently though, she released her own book, but her publishers had to recall most of the books due to huge spelling and grammatical errors. What a PR nightmare!

She did deal with the blunder with all the grace and humility everyone has come to expect from her. With over 2.3-million followers on Twitter and 1.4-million on Instagram, she certainly is one of South Africa’s biggest influencers.

A girl, who calls herself Amber Run (@Nanazileh on Twitter), recently shared some screenshots of a conversation she had with Bonang and they have gone viral for all the wrong reasons. Queen B had promised to help pay the balance of her university fees, but when she didn't come through, Amber decided to publicly post screenshots of their conversation.

Ouch! Check it out for yourself.

Now it seems Bonang’s loyal fans have stood up for her and have defended her for not following through on what she said she’d promised to do on Twitter

I understand Twitter isn’t a binding contract, but surely she should explain why she isn’t in a position to assist Amber? Don’t you think she deserves at least a reply?

Bonang has since blocked her and ceased all communication with her hoping that the whole thing will just disappear. Well, it doesn’t seem that way. At this point, it’s all out there for the world to see.

What do you think - does Amber deserve an explanation or is it not really Bonang’s responsibility to be helping anyone out?
