Are you able to resist free food at the office?

Employees after continually looking for benefits from their employers. A new study has shown that free food is top of the list for employees these days when it comes to being satisfied at work. But when does it stop from being a benefit to just outright greed?
I read a saying once which said that satisfied employees are productive workers, and when it comes to benefits, employees are always looking for the next best thing.
Glassdoor reports that some of the employee perks aren't as traditional as they used to be. It is also to note that 57% of job seekers rank employee perks as important when it comes to considering taking a new job.
Across the world, there are many organisations which offer some pretty luxurious perks. In an article published by TIME, a few companies are extending out of this world perks to their employees which includes free holidays, onsite car washes, and even unlimited leave for parents.
Then there are some organisations who offer free food to employees, and according to a new survey, this perk is making employees happier at work as compared to those who don't have access to it.
The survey showed that employees are more willing to say in a company if food was offered as a benefit, and those looking for a job would consider moving to a company with this perk.
I have been to many companies who are doing more and more to keep their staff happy by adding gyms, canteens, and some even supply endless amounts of juice, cereals, biscuits and sandwiches for their employees, but sometimes it’s not the companies providing food. What about employees bringing in birthday cake or a pizza company delivering some special treats? When there’s free food at the office, are you able to resist eating it? That’s the question.

Numerous studies have found that if food is available and free, people are more likely to indulge even if they’re not hungry. It becomes a huge problem especially for people trying to maintain a wholesome diet.
Is it because the food is free, or just a distraction from your computer to head to the kitchen? Or maybe it's just fear of missing out (or FOMO as the youngsters say)?
Are you able to resist free food at the office, or does it depend on your appetite?
