Kobe Bryant: Travelling via helicopter allowed him more family time
Updated | By ECR
Watch a video clip of Kobe Bryant explaining why the Los Angeles traffic was one of the reasons he opted to rather travel via helicopter instead of driving.

The death of the basketball legend sent shockwaves around the world. According to an article shared by USA Sport today, traveling via helicopter was not a foreign practice for Kobe Bryant, as this was how he used to travel when going home to avoid traffic. This allowed him to spend more time with his family.
Just to give you a backstory, earlier this week reports confirmed that Bryant had died in a helicopter crash on Sunday in Calabasas, California. In the helicopter with him was his daughter Gianna, whom he was traveling with to a basketball game. According to CNN, the other passengers included the pilot, two of Gianna's teammates with their parents, and a basketball coach.
In the interview below, Bryant explains how important family time is to him and how he had to figure out a way to limit the time he was spending on the road.

He started doing so when LA traffic got so bad that it caused him to miss time w/ his family. Video from @BarstoolBigCat and @AROD. RIP to a great family man. pic.twitter.com/feocU5LsYy
