Women urged to join 'Movember' movement by growing out their moustaches

One small step for man, one giant leap for feminism? Women have moustaches too and it is time to let them grow free during 'Movember'.

Ladies, would you grow out the hair on your upper lip for the entire month of November?

And why would you do such a thing, you might ask. Well, because it's 'Movember' and women have moustaches too.

A razor company named Billie is urging women all over the world to ditch their shaving blades and join the movement.

'Movember' is an annual charity drive aimed at raising awareness about health issues facing men.

Men all over the world have been growing out their mustaches for years to show their support.

The Movember Foundation has been running since around 2004 and raised over $600-million to help causes such as prostate and testicular cancer.

It may come as a surprise to some, but some women have chin and upper lip hair. Facial hair increases in some women with age, thanks to those pesky hormones.

While it usually doesn't grow as long as your average moustache - it's there!

Many women usually wax or shave their facial hair.

But according to Billie, women have been hiding their moustaches for too long.

"This Movember we're growing them out and joining in. 'Cause a stache is a stache and we shouldn't let our perfectly good ones go to waste," the women in the brand's new ad say.
