Woah! Man faces jail time for eating goldfish
What was considered to be a prank quickly turned into a possible case of animal cruelty.
In watching this, my first thought was: "Oh dear!".
We have all done something somewhere down the line while having had one too many drinks, right?!
A 24-year-old guy by the name of Daniel Challis from Devon, UK thought it would be funny to swallow a goldfish after a few drinks at the pub.

He was dared to do so by a friend. His lady friend, 27-year-old Cheryl Stevens, who filmed it, felt nothing uploading the clip to Facebook. Both Daniel and Cheryl now find themselves facing possible jail time. "Oh dear", indeed!

Does that seem a little over the top? Can you classify this as animal cruelty? He is now saying that the fish was already dead when he swallowed it.
