Why sleeping in bed with your pet might be a health risk
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
Every
pet owner should be aware of the possible problems it could bring if you allow
your pet to sleep in your bed.
According to The Health Life Center letting your pet in the bedroom might lead to some serious health issues especially to individuals with a weak immune systems.
Dogs and cats carry parasites and pet owners should be able to notice the disease in its early stages.
Surveys conducted in America and other parts of the world highlight that 50% of cat owners and 55% of dog owners sleep with their pets.
It is not your pets' fault for carrying parasites but it is very important to take all the possible risks into consideration before letting your pet in the bed.
Yikes! How's this image! I know for a lot of you, your fur babies are your children and why wouldn't they sleep in your bed right?
This picture may possibly change your mind.
I'm not sure how common this is but man alive especially when it comes to small kids with weaker immune systems it may be worth thinking about.
We have a Netherlands dwarf rabbit named Sophia and she spends a lot of time tucked up under a blanket with Lula.
Is this just another one of those hoax scares I wonder?
Have you ever caught anything from one of your pets?
