Terry Pheto talks to Stacey about bagging international Best Actress award

Stacey caught up with South African actress Terry Pheto after winning a prestigious award in the UK this past weekend.

The fifth annual British Urban Film Festival (buff) awards took this past weekend in the UK and saw leading lady Terry Pheto win Best Actress for her lead role in the movie, 'Faces'.
She is a South African Sotho actress who is best known for her leading role as Miriam in the 2005 Oscar-winning feature film, 'Tsotsi'.

The film 'Faces' also took home the award for the best feature film which was directed by Joseph A. Adesunloye. According to IMDB, "It is a multi-narrative feature film set across four storylines that follow a group of characters as their lives begin to unravel".
Pheto took to Instagram over the weekend to share the news of the win.
"Woke up to the amazing news that I won Best Actress Award at the British Urban Film Festival Awards last night in London. What an honour... thank you," she said.
