The 300 South African firefighters will help Canada battle a huge wildfire that has been burning since the beginning of May.

SA firefighters have gone to help Canada battle a huge wildfire. They will join over 2,000 firefighters currently battling the fire, which destroyed part of Fort McMurray, Alberta, and continues to burn out of control, covering almost 580,000 hectares, according to CBC News.
When the group of 300 arrived with management they started singing with local spirit to boost morale.
This video has since reached millions online!
It’s stories like these that make me so proud to be a South African and even more so to be a human being.
There is nothing more inspiring than seeing people rally around to love, help, and protect each other.
What a visual to see 300-strong all in their yellow tracksuits flying our flag and ready to help where they can. This makes my heart so happy.
