Serena Williams' GQ cover upsets social media

It's been a whirlwind 2018 for Serena Williams. A few months back she had a very public outburst on the court with a ref, and then she went on to shoot a topless video in an attempt to raise awareness for breast cancer.

And she's in the media again, only this time she's featured on a GQ cover and it has been met with controversy.

The tennis star was featured on GQ's Men of the Year issue, dressed in a black bodysuit alongside Michael B. Jordan, Henry Golding, and Jonah Hill. Social media users are upset that the word 'Men' was scratched out and that 'Woman' of the Year was written instead.

'They really put "Woman" in quotes in reference to Serena and no one at the table thought it was a bad idea. I'm speechless,' said @ChrisTheHuman on Twitter.

Channel24 reports that GQ's research manager has said that: "It was handwritten by Virgil Abloh of Off-White, who has styled everything in quotation marks as of late (see Serena's US Open apparel that he designed)".

If GQ was aiming for controversy around their latest issue, they sure got it first hand.

The bowling all-rounder took to his Instagram account to share a cute snap of his newborn on his chest, captioned: "Father and son bonding time.... #priceless moments in life."

In an earlier post, he thanked God "for the gift of life" and went on to express gratitude that both mommy and son are healthy.

It's the most precious moment that we've seen in a long time. Adorbs!

Channing Tatum and Jessie J are apparently Instagram-official!

There is a possibility that hunky Channing Tatum may be taken. He and Jessie J have now taken their relationship to the 'gram'.

Tatum took to his Instagram to beam over Jessie's extraordinary performance at Royal Albert Hall in London, which took place this past Tuesday.

There have also been other relationship rumours that have surfaced. The most recent being that Jessie was spotted at her bae's Magic Mike stage production, which was held this past weekend.

Channing and Jenna Dewan publicly announced their split back in April this year, and rumours have been floating around saying that the pair are now ready to move on with their lives.
