Sea lion snatches young girl and drags her into water

How intense is this footage?! A day out enjoying the sights could have ended in tragedy for this little girl and her family.
According to KIIS1065, a little girl was out with her family at the Steveston Fisherman's Wharf in Canada when they noticed a sea lion swimming in the water. As the little girl sat down, the sea lion leaped out of the water and pulled her in. Thankfully, a relative jumped into the water and saved her. Terrifying!
When watching this, I thought that if it was my child, I would probably have intercepted the sea lion. In saying that, I know how quickly these things happen when you are not expecting them and you can't be one of those helicopter parents trying to control possible outcomes.
