SA girl shares terrifying moment dozens shot in front of her in Paris attack

A South African student says she 'played dead' for about an hour to try and survive the massacre.
Early on Saturday morning I awoke to a text from a dear friends asking if I had seen the news, I darted down to the Telly and sat glued and slightly numb watching the footage roll in.
Ordinary people like me and you, attacked enjoying a Friday night out at a soccer game, out for dinner, drinks and watching a band. The attack at the Bataclan Theatre while The Eagles of Death Metal were playing is the one that really rattles me as this would have been a concert I would have so been at with mates. Story after story of the innocent running for their lives as the words 'God is great' was shouted.
Charlie Hedbo cartoonist Joann Sfar wrote: Friends from the whole world, thank you for #prayforParis, but we don't need more religion! Our faith goes to music! Kisses! Life! Champagne and Joy! #Paris is about life.
My heart aches at how sad our world is all over, a poem from Warsan Shire comes to mind.
Later that night I held an atlas in my lap ran my fingers across the whole world and whispered where does it hurt? It answered everywhere…everywhere…everywhere.
May this tragic ordeal be another reminder to love with a whole heart, tell those you love how much they mean and not to take one second of this fragile life for granted.
Below is the experience of a South African born girl who was at The Bataclan at the time...
A South African student described the chilling details of how she laid down and played dead while dozens of people were shot right in front of her.
Isobel Bowsery attended the sold out rock concert at the Bataclan hall when three attackers entered and started shooting people.
Isobel took to her Facebook page to share the terrifying moment.
Bowdery said she initially thought the attack was part of the show, and that she never thought something like that would happen to her.
The Facebook post had been shared more than 1.3 million times by Sunday morning.
