PICS: Little girl's 'adult outfits' spark controversy on social media
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
While trolling through social media, Jane came across a post showing an adorable girl dressed up in a few outfits that looked straight out of an adult's wardrobe.

Clothing for kids has really evolved over the years. These days it's not uncommon to see a child in an outfit that would be suitable for an adult.
Although some say "Awww" when they see a child all dressed up, there are others who strongly believe that parents should rather allow them to look like a child.

I was trolling through the interwebs on Monday night and came across a few photos of an adorable little girl whose attire in the few pictures had social media riled up. It is unclear as to where the child is from, or why the photos were shot.
The photos were posted on MetDaan Creative's Facebook page and saw a host of comments from individuals saying that the outfits were unsuitable for a child.
"I'm sorry as a mother of a two year old baby girl I would never dress her like this. To (sic) grown," said Raven Mouton.
While Patrice Cuiman added: "What is wrong with Ppl wanting the children to be grown before time 🤦🏽♀️ just sad."
Take a look at the pics below:
Look, at first glimpse, I thought: "Why isn’t she enjoying being a messy little sand eater with messy hands and a pocket full of ‘treasure'?"
Instead this little one firmly looks like she is in full control of her adulting future. Man-oh-man, if only she knew how precious her carefree days are, and that she has the rest of her life to play grown up.
