A hungry snake tried swallowing a lot more than anticipated, which made for terrifying footage.
For some bizarre reason, the listeners of KZN love a good snake story, and being KZN's No.1, we aim to please.
Today's strange snake story of the day is brought to you by Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary in Pennsylvania. A park employee named Jesse Rothacker has managed to capture a strange sighting of a Kingsnake attempting to swallow itself - for some weird reason.

“They will sometimes see their own tail, they’ll think it’s a snake, they’ll take a bite out of it, and they’ll realize they’ve bitten themselves,” Rothacker said in the clip that's doing the rounds far and wide.
Thankfully, Jesse managed to use his thumbs to free the snack from itself, so all's well that ends well.
