The mom who shopped her family broke

We all have different love languages and one of the things I love to do (when I can find the time) is shopping.

 I don't necessarily have to buy anything just browsing can sometimes be enough.

Please though don't get me wrong I love the rush of finding a beautiful new dress or loud pair of pants and if they’re on sale even better.

However shopping must be a different story when like any addiction it becomes compulsive, wreck-less, consuming and detrimental to those around you. 

From the outside, it looked like Felice Campbell had the perfect life.

 She has six children, lived in a big house in the suburbs, drove a new car and wore expensive clothes.

Behind closed doors, though, it was an entirely different story.

Felice’s out-of-control spending left her children without healthcare as she would rather spend money on one of her many credit cards, on hair extensions and time at the spa.

Unbeknown to her husband the family were on the verge of financial catastrophe.
