Mom created zombie-themed photoshoot for child

An Australian mom has received a huge backlash for creating a zombie-themed photoshoot for her son's first birthday.

Louise went on to explain that she chose this theme because her son was pronounced dead and then miraculously came back to life on Halloween. 

For me, I wouldn't go this route for any of my kids' birthday cakes, but in saying that, the story behind this cake is amazing.

Since having kids we have had a Nelson Mandela, Ninja Turtles, Princess, Top Gear, and Shrek and Princess Fiona cakes. Phew! That's a lot of cake now that I think about it.

When I was growing up, my most favourite cake that I can remember was a Barbie-themed ice-cream cake.

I can remember the dry ice surrounding her precious being and the pink and white ice-cream complete with that red syrup sauce as detailing on her outfit. Mmm... memories!
