Man sues woman for texting during their first movie date

Well, this guy's pet peeve has cost him a chance at ever scoring a date again!

After reading this, I have decided that this guy needs to throw back a handful of chill pills! No wonder he is single?!

I came across this insane story while sipping on a cup of coffee this morning and I couldn't believe my eyes. According to news.com.au, a 35-year-old woman from Texas is facing some legal issues after a guy that she met online sued her for texting during their first movie date together.

Brandon Vezmar, 37, filed a claim against his movie date because she started texting during the first few minutes of the film Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, which they decided to go see together.

Texting is obviously a huge pet peeve of his because he even noticed that she looked at her phone between 10 to 20 times during a 15-minute period. He asked her to stop texting, she refused, so she was asked by him to step outside to continue texting. She ended up leaving and never came back. Sheesh! Talk about a date gone wrong!

Brandon contacted his failed date to ask for a refund for the movie ticket he purchased for her, but she refused to pay it. After all, he was the one who asked her out first.

Sure, I also have a low tolerance in a movie for chatter, texters, and chair kickers. I must say, however, that since having kids, I've watched a 3D movie with cracked glasses smeared with jelly tots and popcorn grease - all with a wiggly kid on my lap. So yes, I have mellowed out somewhat.

Back to this guy. I can't believe he even counted the number of times she looked at her phone and then sued her? I agree your phone should be on silent during a movie, but this seems a little OTT, don't you think?
