Man freaks out internet with his five-inch long thumb

A college student named Jacob Pina has stunned citizens of the internet with his freakishly long thumb which measures five-inches long.
Videos of him stretching out his thumb for the world to see have surfaced, and most aren't quite sure what to make of it.
According to On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Jacob is not quite sure how his thumb got to that length, but it's something that he's embracing with a big thumbs up (see what we did there).
We did a bit of research and discovered that long thumb is an actual thing. The condition is called Brachydactyly, and it is a very rare syndrome which causes the joints sometimes to shorten or grow longer.
At least he will never lose a thumb war.
