Kanye West has university course dedicated to him
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
Would you attend a course on Kanye West if you were given the opportunity?
There is no denying that Kanye is a universal cultural icon. I mean, even before he hooked up with Kim K, the world knew of his musicology and self love. It was just this weekend I saw a hat with the wording, 'I love you as much as Kanye loves Kanye', sewn into it. Classic.

He is also in tune with fashion trends (I'm personally not a fan of his nude range, though), and has a lot to offer across the board. In saying that, his latest trip to a psychiatric ward on a stretcher may not add the right attention when considering endorsing a course at university.

The course, 'Politics of Kanye West: Black Genius and Sonic Aesthetics', will be offered to 75 students at Washington University. There is actually a waiting list of students who want to join the course. Can you believe it?
I wonder what the attendance will be like and if the students registered would actually make it through the course or drop out?
